Biography

Damon Licata, a native of Brooklyn, NY, moved to South Florida with his family as a toddler and found his artistic roots in the vibrant landscapes and architecture of Boca Raton where he was raised. After honorably serving in the US Navy, and attending Palm Beach State, Licata initially majored in music. He entertained crowds at different night clubs in a Jazz/Alternative group throughout South Florida in the mid to late 1990s. In 2002 his creative journey took a turn towards visual arts as the night scene was not fit for his growing family. Commissioned artworks and the exploration of diverse mediums and techniques became his focus professionally.

Before emerging as a professional artist, Damon dedicated years to honing his artistic craft. He followed in the footsteps of his father who was also a professional artist in the architectural field, respectively. His portfolio has grown to include hundreds of diverse artworks that are displayed in four different continents around the world.

Driven by a deep spiritual connection, Damon aspires to honor God through both his musical and visual creations. His arts reflect a profound sense of purpose, resilience, and a commitment to family values.
